molly's honda

molly's dad has this '67 honda 300 that i would absolutely love to clean up and get running for molly to tool around on. she'd look so cool on it. i've been giving her motorbike driving lessons on my bike, and she's getting pretty good. i'm going to get on that just as soon as i get time...

production parts everywhere.

production parts are happening everywhere around koboshop... here's some pencil case patterns cut out and started to be sewn on top of of tie patterns cut out. lots of finishing left to do...

more leatherpress dies.

f is cutting me out another leatherpress die so i can make more pockets at once. that will be very nice. still waiting on the other half, but i saw on his blog he already cut it out. cool!

aG pedestal table.

spent a night cutting out the pieces for a pedestal table andy is making for his innovation center. it will have a finished plywood top, and have two more metal circles on it with standoffs for electrical cables to run through the middle. there is something very satisfying about drawing something in the computer then having it physically in your hands hours later.

nathans 1st production run cast.

man, it felt good to have all these little suckers in metal now. 5 styles, bronze and aluminum will be available in each style. that bucket is much, much heavier than it looks....

uffizi production run.

got the whole first run of uffizi's cut out. cool to see an entire sheet of steel get cookie-cuttered into these things. the laborious process of cleaning the dross off of the backside of the steel, as well as sanding, branding, welding on sawtooth hangers, rubber bumps and powdercoating is ongoing... getting pretty close though.

koboshop stamp.

we're going to need to do some branding on packaging for renegade, so i played with the "rubber stamp" feature on andy's laser cutter. that thing is so cool, worked out really well. this was the first rubber i tried, and on the first shot. that never happens. i was pretty pumped about it. i've since gotten some other samples of rubber and when i get a chance to get back to andy's shop, i'll try out a few other things. koboshop will be able to start scrapbooking all of our memories, lovely.
